Axiom MCP Server Setup Guide

Installation

Download the Latest Release

1. Visit the releases page for the latest built binary.

Install from Source

2. Run the following command:

   go install github.com/axiomhq/axiom-mcp@latest
    

Configuration

Using a Config File

1. Create a config.txt file with the following content:

   token xaat-your-token
    url https://api.axiom.co
    query-rate 1
    query-burst 1
    datasets-rate 1
    datasets-burst 1
    

Using Command Line Flags

2. Execute the axiom-mcp with the following flags:

   axiom-mcp 
     -token xaat-your-token 
     -url https://api.axiom.co 
     -query-rate 1 
     -query-burst 1 
     -datasets-rate 1 
     -datasets-burst 1
    

Using Environment Variables

3. Set the following environment variables:

   export AXIOM_TOKEN=xaat-your-token
    export AXIOM_URL=https://api.axiom.co
    export AXIOM_ORG_ID=your-org-id
    export AXIOM_QUERY_RATE=1
    export AXIOM_QUERY_BURST=1
    export AXIOM_DATASETS_RATE=1
    export AXIOM_DATASETS_BURST=1
    

Usage

Create a Config File

1. Run the following command to create a config.txt:

   echo "token xaat-your-token" > config.txt
    

Configure the Claude App

2. Edit the claude_desktop_config.json file located at ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/:
