Step 1: Install MCP Server Plugin
- Visit the JetBrains plugin repository.
- Download and install the MCP Server plugin from the following URL:
https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/26071-mcp-server
Step 2: Configure Claude Desktop

Locate your claude_desktop_config.json file:
- On macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
- On Windows:
%APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Add the following configuration to the file:

Step 3: Configure MCP Server

If connecting to a specific IDE, add the IDE’s port to the configuration:

To specify a different host/address for the IDE’s built-in webserver:

Step 4: Build the Project (macOS)

Install necessary tools:
brew install node pnpm

Build the project using pnpm:
pnpm build
