Dart MCP Server Setup Guide

Prerequisites
  • Ensure you have Node.js installed (npx comes bundled with Node).
  • Obtain your authentication token from your Dart profile.

Setup with npx

  1. Locate the MCP Settings File:

    • For Claude:
      • Install Claude Desktop as needed.
      • Open claude_desktop_config.json via Claude Desktop app: Settings > Developer tab > Edit Config.
    • For Cline:
      • Install Cline in your IDE.
      • Open the Cline sidebar in your IDE: MCP Servers icon > Installed tab > Configure MCP Servers.
    • For Other Clients:
      • Locate [client]_mcp_settings.json.
  2. Install npx (if not already installed):

    • Ensure Node.js is installed on your system.
  3. Configure MCP Server:

    • Add the following configuration, replacing dsa... with your actual Dart token:

Setup with Docker

  1. Locate the MCP Settings File:

    • Follow the same steps as in the npx setup to locate the MCP settings file.
  2. Install Docker:

    • Ensure Docker is installed on your system.
  3. Build Docker Container:

    • Run the following command to build the Docker container:
      docker build -t mcp/dart .
       
  4. Configure MCP Server:

    • Add the following configuration, replacing dsa... with your actual Dart token:
