Fireproof MCP JSON Document Server

Installation

1. Install Dependencies

   Run the following command to install the necessary dependencies:

   npm install
    

2. Build the Project

   Build the project using:

   npm build
    

Running the Server

To configure the server for use with Claude Desktop, follow these steps based on your operating system:

On MacOS

1. Edit Configuration File

   Modify the file located at:

   ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
    

2. Add Server Configuration

   Insert the following JSON configuration:

     "fireproof": {
     "command": "/path/to/fireproof-mcp/build/index.js"
     }
     }
    }
    

On Windows

1. Edit Configuration File

   Modify the file located at:

   %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
    

2. Add Server Configuration

   Insert the following JSON configuration:

     "command": "/path/to/fireproof-mcp/build/index.js"
     }
     }
    }
    

Debugging

To debug the MCP server, use the MCP Inspector:

1. Run the Inspector

   Execute the following command:

   npm run inspector
    

2. Access Debugging Tools

   The Inspector will provide a URL to access debugging tools in your browser.
