# Model Context Protocol (MCP) Setup Guide
 

 ## Requirements
 - Python 3.10 or higher
 

 ## Step 1: Install `uv`
 

 ### MacOS/Linux
 ```bash
 curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh
 
Windows
powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://astral.sh/uv/install.ps1 | iex"
 
Step 2: Configure Claude Desktop


Download and launch Claude Desktop.


Navigate to Settings > Developer > Edit Config.


Modify claude_desktop_config.json with the following configuration:

Relaunch Claude Desktop.

Step 3: Launch Claude Desktop

The first launch may take 10-20 seconds for the Adfin tools to appear.
Each launch ensures the most recent Adfin API tools are available to your AI assistant.
